Product Description
Lucide PHILON is a matt-black floor reading lamp made from painted aluminium. Its slim round base and straight stem form a restrained graphic silhouette, complemented by two small cylindrical heads at different heights. Place it beside an armchair or sofa where local light is needed for reading.
The heads can be positioned individually through the manufacturer's specified 330° mechanical adjustment range to aim light towards the chosen area. The 60° source beam angle describes light spread from the head and is different from the mechanical rotation angle. The stand height is fixed, so adjust the illuminated area through head positioning and the location of the lamp itself.
The lamp contains 2 integrated LED sources, each rated at 4.5 W with a maximum source luminous flux of 195 lm. Their powers sum to 9 W, and the declared flux values sum to 390 lm; the latter is the sum of source figures, not a separately measured whole-luminaire output. The manual gives each source a dimmed flux range of 45–195 lm. The heads can be aimed at different nearby areas, but separate brightness control for each head is not specified.
3000 K produces warm white light, while CRI 80 describes colour rendering for everyday use. The LEDs are included, so no separate bulbs need to be selected. The touch dimmer at the top of the stem provides on/off switching and brightness adjustment. Changing brightness does not change the light colour: the colour temperature is fixed. No external wall dimmer is required.
The manufacturer gives each source an expected service life of 30,000 h and energy-efficiency class G. Service life describes expected LED operation, not the warranty period. The lamp uses an included adapter/driver intended for a 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply. It is a corded model without a battery.
Overall dimensions are 23 × 23 × 140 cm, and the round aluminium base measures Ø 23 × 0.5 cm. Each head measures Ø 3 × 6 cm. The PVC cable is 173 cm long, and net weight is 2.6 kg. Attach the base to the stem as instructed and position the lamp on a level, stable surface, allowing clearance for head rotation.
The light is intended for dry indoor use. IP20 provides protection against access to hazardous parts and larger solid objects, but no protection against water. Electrical protection class II means double or reinforced insulation. There is no motion or dusk sensor; touch control requires deliberate user input. The fixture has a 3-year warranty.
